How cool would it be to slow down time like Spiderman?

The importance of supporting our mind and body, for ultimate soul-takeover.
I began dabbling in this concept about a year ago when I was meditating consistently and taking care of my health religiously. Time started to slow down and I felt in complete control of my thoughts and actions. I felt like Spiderman, able to slow down time and see things happening in slow motion and make cognitive choices.
Most of the time we are reacting either by habit or emotionally to the things happening around us. We have utilized what we know and what we have been taught to create a safe and unconscious habit we call "living". Everyday waking up at the usual time, doing the usual things, thinking about the same things- the past or worrying about the future. If we get a call from a friend or a relative its the usual conversation, reacting unbeknownst as what we have been doing all along or how it's expected we react.
Now, what if I said you can slow down time to the point where you can see all the possible actions afforded to you and the result of each one before you make a conscious decision of what to say or do? What if you are so conscious of yourself and your goals that you can make different decisions that ultimately lead to different paths in our life?
Because, the truth is the thoughts, actions and decisions we have made thus far in our lives have resulted in the life we currently live. Look around, your home, your car, your body, your daily routine, what we do for work.- are ultimately our decisions stemmed from either our thoughts or someone else's (if we often take other people's advice). We create our own lives and we created the moment we are living in now surrounded by the people and things we have now.
For the people who are maybe a little bored with their life or want something more out of it- I offer you a solution: wake up from the unconscious living and start making conscious decisions. All it takes is a shift in some of our daily habits for us to start living this way.
Let me tell you- when we start living life as if it was an actual simulation- controlling our mind and body in life rather than letting it be on autopilot, it starts getting weird but also very fun! Imagine this: moments before waking up in the morning your soul enters the body that houses your brain and you start your game called "life". Right now, most people let the mind do the talking, the thinking and the reacting from what it knows is safe and out of habit- what we "usually" do. Because of course what we usually do has kept us safe for this long right?
Your mind is firing the same thoughts it normally does in the morning and it takes you to the restroom, to the kitchen, to the water jug, etc. What if we realized this, stopped for a moment and took control of our mind and body and did things differently because our soul demanded it. Quite literally like a little puppy- sit, stand, squat, compute, etc.?
Being able to take advantage of the incredible tools we are given- the mind and body is the most incredibly rewarding thing in life.
Just how powerful are these tools?
Did you know that...
Our brains can process information faster than any computer.Your brain can perform up to 1 quintillion (10¹⁸) operations per second, faster than even the most advanced supercomputers.
We have about 86 billion neurons. Each neuron can form thousands of connections (synapses) with others, creating trillions of pathways, a network so vast that no supercomputer can yet fully simulate it.
Our brains can store more data than the internet. Scientists estimate our memory capacity at 2.5 petabyte, equivalent to about 3 million hours of TV shows!
Our bones are lightweight armor. They’re five times stronger than steel by weight, yet porous enough to regenerate.
We possess incredible strength. In extreme emergencies, a surge of adrenaline can unlock superhuman power, enough for us to lift a 2,000-lb car to save someone.
We are incredible just at birth and it's insane to let all this power and strength go on the sidelines and not use it to create a beautiful life that we can live to the fullest.
How do we take advantage of all that we are given?
I have found, and the research confirms, that when our mind and body are working at optimal states we can exercise better control of it- the notion that time slows down and we can make different choice rather than reacting to our environment. How? Let's dive in.

Steps to regain control of mind and body in just 7 days (also known as my 7 Pillars of Life):
Get restful sleep every night.
For men that means aim for 8 hours per night and women 9 hours. Sometimes you'll wake feeling rested with less but the goal is to aim for more- shoot for the moon and at least you'll land among the stars.
Use tools to ensure your night is uninterrupted- cool the room, make sure it's complete dark, use mouth tape to ensure nose breathing or a cpap machine if needed. I have recently implemented mouth tape and let me tell you, its a game changer for sleep quality.
Consume a healthy diet.
Make sure protein is the star in every meal. Vegetables are the important costars. Limit carbs for before heavy workouts and avoid processed sugar like bread, candy and dessert. For something sweet, reach for fruits like berries and watermelon.
Eat smaller portions so your body doesn't need to be paralyzed to process everything you just ate.
Supplement, as needed.
You should be seeing your doctor at least yearly, have gotten labs done and know if you need to supplement anything drastic. Most people need exogenous vitamin D, B vitamins, omega 3s and magnesium. There are many other vitamins you can take as well but those are a good start.
Exercise daily.
Walking is a fantastic way to get the body moving and blood flowing. Try to aim for 10,000 steps per day, for most thats about 45 mins of brisk walking. You can split that to 25 mins in the morning and 25 mins at sunset. Your brain needs blood flow!
Weight training at least 3 times a week where you are exerting your muscles beyond the usual daily movements is huge for longevity.
Daily stretching to improve posture and bone elasticity.
Meditate daily.
This is very important and often skipped. To be able to control your mind it requires uninterrupted practiced focus. Start by habit stacking it to a morning or evening routine like "after I brush my teeth in the morning I will meditate for 5 minutes on the couch" or "After dinner, I will meditate for 5 minutes at the dinner table." Write it down, using a clear time and location, to solidify the new habit.
Daily neurogenic activities.
This means learning a new skill, a new language, going on a hike at a new trail. Parking your car in a different parking spot/doing things that break your normal routine. Learning no matter what age you are is wildly important for brain health as you are literally creating new neurons in your brain.
Make time for healthy relationships/connection and Spirituality.
We are social beings by nature, so call a friend or parent to socialize even briefly to feel connected to society.
Give thanks to the supreme being or universe daily.
Summary
If you do this after just 1 week, I promise you- life will be feeling like a whole new simulation. It's quite incredible what the mind and the body can achieve and with just a few tweeks in our daily lives we can begin to take full advantage of these gifts.
As time goes on, building these healthy habits will continue to strengthen the control your soul has on your mind and body and watch magic begin to unfold before your eyes. You'll not only feel healthier but you'll feel happier and more in control of your life and where you want to take it.
